About Yu Fan
Andy Yu Fan Lee is a Taiwanese actor. He graduated from Chinese Culture University with a BA in drama and studying MA performance in Manchester Met University now.
He has worked in theatre and musicals. His training consists of movement training, voice training, and the experiences with directing, Chinese opera and Chinese cross talk.
Now he is doing research on immersive theater, focusing on testing the boundary between the audience and the actors, and trying to challenge the audience's cognition and common sense.
In the process of his creation, he tried to blend games and performances, because he believed that if the audience felt like they were playing a game during the performance, they would be more engaged and enjoy it more, so he created various situations so that the audience could have different options.
His works over the past year have explored identity, psychological conditions, and sensory deprivation. The intention is to give the audience a completely different experience. Through immersive performances, the audience can become part of the performance, hoping that through the changes that audiences make to the story will make it more relevant to each audience member.
